Welcome to the Employer Connection Week: STEM!
Employer Connection Weeks are small, in-person recruiting events held Monday - Thursday with a virtual career expo taking place Friday via Handshake.
February 8-12:
In-person registration is extremely limited - social distancing will be in place. A face covering is required. Employers are limited to 1 representative per company. Any company that registers for an in-person event at SFA will automatically be registered for the virtual career expo taking place the Friday of that week via Handshake, which gives you the chance to engage with candidates multiple times!
Monday: Nursing | 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., School of Nursing (5707 North Street, Nacogdoches, Texas 75964)
Tuesday: Physics Engineering: Mechanical and Electrical | 5 - 7 p.m., STEM Building, Room 103
Wednesday: Computer Science (CIS, Data Analytics, IT, Cyber Security) | 1 - 4 p.m., STEM Building, Room 103
Friday: Virtual Career Expo via Handshake | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

In collaboration with the Center for Career and Professional Development, the College of Sciences and Mathematics welcomes you to recruit the finest STEM graduates. The college offers degrees in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, computer science, computer information systems, engineering physics, geology, information technology, mathematics, nursing, and physics. Other programs of study include astronomy, statistics, pre-engineering, and pre-health professions. The college is committed to providing quality instruction and unique research experiences in the STEM fields. The number of STEM majors in any one semester averages over 2,000 students!
In addition to the majors offered in this college, SFA also offers bachelor of science and master of science programs in environmental science, housed in the Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture’s Division of Environmental Science.

- 1 parking pass for the Student Center Parking Garage
- OPTIONAL: Registration for Virtual Career Expo taking place Friday, February 12.
