DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Employer Connection Week: Agriculture!\n\nEmployer Connection Weeks are small\, in-person recruiting events held Monday - Thursday in the Agriculture Building with a virtual career expo taking place Friday via Handshake.\n\n \n\nFebruary 2-5:\n\nTuesday: Horticulture/Agribusiness | 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.\, Agriculture Building\n\nWednesday: Animal Science/Poultry Science/Agriculture Engineering Technology/Agribusiness  | 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.\, Agriculture Building\n\nThursday: Pre-Vet | 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.\, Agriculture Building\n\nFriday: Virtual Career Expo via Handshake | 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.\n\n\n\nIn-person registration is extremely limited - social distancing will be in place. A face covering is required. Employers are limited to 1 representative per company. Any company that registers for an in-person event at SFA will automatically be registered for the virtual career expo taking place the Friday of that week via Handshake.\, which gives you the chance to engage with candidates multiple times!\n\n\n\nIn collaboration with the Center for Career and Professional Development\, the Department of Agriculture at SFA welcomes you to recruit SFA agriculture students for available full-time and internship opportunities.\n\nThe Department of Agriculture at SFA offers multiple specialized academic tracks to prepare students for career opportunities and ensure they are equipped to face the challenges of a growing\, globalized world. Students may hone their specialties in agribusiness\, agricultural development\, agricultural engineering technology\, animal science\, horticulture and poultry science. Furthermore\, students obtain firsthand experience in their designated field throughout their undergraduate career\, a characteristic that distinguishes our program from many others.\n\n\n\nStandard price of $150.\n\nRegistration Includes:\n\n\n	\n	1-6 foot table\n	\n	\n	1 chair\n	\n	\n	1 Lunch Voucher\n	\n	\n	1 parking pass for Wilson Drive Parking Garage\, Level 1\n	\n	\n	OPTIONAL: Registration for Virtual Career Expo taking place Friday\, February 5.\n	\n\n\nAll in-person events are subject to virtual conversion in light of COVID-19. Event day and times will remain the same but will transition to a virtual modality. The CCPD will inform employers immediately should this be the case.\n\n \n\nPlease allow at least 24-48 hours for the CCPD to review all career event registrations.
