Angelina College: "Oklahoma!" Musical Theater Production
Oklahoma! is a groundbreaking musical about cowboy Curly and farm girl Laurey’s romance in the Oklahoma Territory just before statehood. Set against the backdrop of the classic west and driven by the rivalry between farmers and cowboys, this show has become a landmark in the American musical canon and features the combined talents of our theater and music students. Music by Richard Rodgers, book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II.
