Boots, Best Buddies, & BBQ

Kurth Animal Shelter Advocates (**K.A.S.A.) are thrilled to host “Boots, Best Buddies, & BBQ" on Saturday, March 1st at the Pitser Garrison Convention Center, 601 N. 2nd St., Lufkin, TX from 6:30 pm -10 pm with doors opening at 6:00 pm. Dance to the live music of the great Glenn Lenderman Band, plus delicious BBQ sandwiches, soft drinks, raffles, a silent auction, and more! A cash bar will be available. Tickets are $25.00 and may be bought at the door or in advance at Kurth Memorial Animal Shelter, 1901 Hill Street, Lufkin from 12pm-5pm Tuesday-Saturday. For reservations call 936-676-8500! This annual fundraiser will support the vetting fund of KASA and enable the sick or injured animals of Kurth Animal Services to receive the veterinary care needed to survive or become adoptable.

(**K.A.S.A. is a 501(c)(3) public charity run by volunteers of animal advocates dedicated to helping the animals of Kurth Memorial Animal Services in Lufkin, TX. As an open-intake shelter for all of Angelina County, they accept all of the county's homeless or abandoned animals. The members of this organization discuss concerns and solutions, bring awareness, present our concerns to city/county governments, and promote the common good for these animals. It is our ultimate goal for the euthanasia rate to be as low as possible.)
