Our emergency shelter needs community help with food items! The Safehouse provides three meals and snacks each day to approximately 30 adults and children seeking safety. Your donated food items help ensure local survivors of abuse have nourishing meals during their stay.
Our greatest need right now is for unexpired, nonperishable canned and boxed food items, including:
Cake mix
Icing for cookies and cake
Diced tomatoes
Assorted pastas
Sugar (white and brown)
Cornbread
Coffee
Coffee creamer
Cereal
Syrup
Tuna fish
Crackers
Ramen soups
Chef Boyardee
Ranch mix packets
Chili (Wolf or Hormel Brand)
Green beans
Dish soap
Peanut Butter
Canned Beans
Kool Aid
Corn
Cooking Spray
These items can be dropped off at any Family Crisis Center Outreach Office between 8am & 5pm, Monday - Friday. Be sure to call ahead for San Augustine, Crockett, and Nacogdoches offices to ensure staff are present.
