Tire and Electronic Collection Day

Bring in up to 8 tires at no charge and all of your electronics during the annual collection event at the City of Lufkin Solid Waste and Regional Recycling Center on Saturday, September 10 from 9am until 1pm. There will be a $2 charge for each additional car or light truck tire. If you want to keep the rim, there will be a $5 charge to take each rim off. Semi-truck tires will cost $5 each. No off road tires or tires from businesses accepted. Free disposal of car and small engine batteries. Televisions, electronics, and computer equipment will be accepted at no charge.
