Our Customer service clerk provides order processing support to Customer Service team, to deliver the highest level of service. Position is a clerical support role for the Customer Service team.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Accurately enters and reviews sales orders within 24 hours.
  • Inputs customer and sales data into processing system according to company procedures.
  • Ensures all proper paperwork is filed in customer folders to meet department policy.
  • Provides backup coverage for Account Representative/Specialists
  • Assists with special projects/reporting as assigned
  • Supports invoicing customers, invoicing freight, and matching records for payment.
  • Develops and maintains detailed written desk instructions covering all major responsibilities.
  • May perform additional clerical responsibilities including mail distribution, filing, and general administrative tasks.
  • Participates and contributes to company safety program.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
