Customer Service Clerk provides order processing support to Customer Service team, to deliver the highest level of service. Position is a clerical support role for the Customer Service team.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Accurately enters and reviews sales orders within 24 hours.
- Inputs customer and sales data into processing system according to company procedures.
- Ensures all proper paperwork is filed in customer folders to meet department policy.
- Provides backup coverage for Account Representative/Specialists
- Assists with special projects/reporting as assigned
- Supports invoicing customers, invoicing freight, and matching records for payment.
- Develops and maintains detailed written desk instructions covering all major responsibilities.
- May perform additional clerical responsibilities including mail distribution, filing, and general administrative tasks.
- Participates and contributes to company safety program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
