Full-time employees may request PTO at any time during the year.  The President reserves the right to grant employees advanced PTO in emergency situations.
Days off are the equivalent of 8 hours PTO from Mon. – Friday.
The Chamber believes that time away from work is essential for employees' well-being. Five (5) days of unused personal time can be rolled over at year-end. Thus, any personal time not used within an employee’s applicable PTO accrual schedule (outside of the 5 days allowed to roll over) is deemed unearned and forfeited. Employees with no accumulation of PTO may be granted time off without pay with the president's approval.
An employee’s absence for three consecutive working days, without notifying the President & CEO or immediate supervisor, will be considered abandonment, and employment will be terminated.
Upon termination of employment, an employee will be paid any earned but unused PTO up to the maximum allowed under the approved PTO policy.

Your life insurance coverage is designated to provide a specific amount of insurance to a beneficiary of your choice in the event of your death.  This insurance is payable under the settlement options offered by the insurance carrier.  Your insurance terminates when your employment terminates.  All insurance will terminate because of discontinuation of the Master Policy.

Also included with the life insurance policy is an accidental death or dismemberment benefit.  The amount of coverage is the same as the employee’s group life insurance (1.5 times the employee’s annual salary rounded to the next highest $1000).  This coverage is designed to provide benefits for death or certain dismemberment that must occur directly and independently of all other causes from an accident and within 90 days of the accident.
