Insurance & Client Scheduling Coordinator

Position Overview: Connections Counseling & Psychological Services is seeking a full time Insurance and Client Scheduling Coordinator to work under the direction of the Office Manager. The Insurance and Client Scheduling Coordinator would work 32 to 40 hours per week, Monday- Friday, performing administrative duties in a fun, dynamic group practice.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA laws
  • Demonstrate compassion and empathy by actively listening to clients’ needs and concerns, showing a genuine understanding and compassion in each interaction.
  • Manage intake calls (answer phone and email, schedule intake appointments with appropriate therapist, answer potential client questions)
  • Verify insurance benefits
  • Filing insurance claims
  • Assist in tracking intake metrics (incoming calls, scheduled sessions, referral sources)
  • Communicate with clinicians regarding scheduling
  • Communicate with management regarding intake metrics and streamlining of intake processes
  • Keep Electronic Health Records organized and manage intake paperwork collection
  • Coordinate testing appointments and manage forms and paperwork
  • Assume responsibility of maintenance of office equipment (printer, paper, filling office cups and treats, etc.)
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Other duties as assigned
