Lufkin Rubber Company is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to support our operations. Our Inventory Control Specialists are vital to ensuring the accuracy, traceability, and proper storage of products, contributing directly to the efficiency and success of our company. This role requires a candidate with a strong sense of urgency, the ability to multi-task, and a willingness to work in a collaborative team atmosphere. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate counts, ensuring product traceability and allocation (both physical and electronic), and properly storing inventory. Knowledge and Qualifications Requirements
- Set up inventory control procedures & system
- Manages all incoming & outgoing stock such as receipts and dispatches.
- Records all transactions & movements in document and database record form
- Keeps & verifies daily stock levels
- Generates stock demand & forecasting reports
- Monitor and manage inventory min/max order points
- Performs physical cycle count of inventory.
- Regularly perform a physical inventory count, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Inventory reconciliations
- Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company guidelines
- Ability to use computers and other automated tools
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Improve space management.
- Check and process documents of business transactions as per established procedures.
- Inventory usage and control, including cycle counts/stock take
- Stock location-allocation and tracking
- Stock movements and adjustments
- Investigate and solve inventory discrepancies with timely solutions
- Maintain sound stock control processes
- Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers and other company staff.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
