Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing quality oral healthcare to patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Take dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Perform various office tasks as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in digital X-Ray procedures
- Knowledge of dental coding and imaging
- Understanding of dental anatomy
- Familiarity with infection control technique through universal precautions
- Competency in Eaglesoft software
- Familiarity with dental terminology
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
License/Certification:
- Texas Registered Dental Assistant License (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
