Hospice in the Pines, Incorporated is a non-profit organization serving the East Texas community since 1986. The agency is seeking compassionate individuals to join our growing team of professionals.
Position Available: Patient Care Aide
Responsibility Overview:
Patient Care Aide candidate will demonstrate knowledge in delivery of direct care; assisting with ADLs, transfers to and from bed, repositioning, skin care and prevention, incontinent care, etc.
- Displays sound judgment; works with minimal supervision.
- Anticipates and provides equipment/supplies based on patient needs, assures equipment and supplies are functional prior to use; operates equipment according to manufacture guidelines.
- Remains aware of patient’s condition, initiates actions based on physical changes, alerts others to patient needs
- Properly records, labels, and handles specimens; ensures prompt and timely delivery.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Candidate will rotate minimal on-call and weekends
