About Us
The Atkinson Family has been making fresh, quality candies for over 90 years - right here in Lufkin! We are best known for the one and only Chick-O-Stick® and Peanut Butter Bars, and have a commitment to creating candies made with simple ingredients. Our confections are kosher certified and vegan friendly. Our other sweet treats include all natural Mint Twists®, crushed peppermint for baking and sprinkling, Slo Poke®, Long Boys® Coconut, and Black Cow® caramels, Mary Jane® molasses chews, Gemstone® hard candies in more than 20 flavors, Leman's® mints, and Sophie Mae® peanut brittle bites and bars. Many of our candies are also offered in sugar-free versions.
