About Us
For 100 years, Brookshire Brothers has provided for the needs of our customers and the communities we serve. What started with a small general store in downtown Lufkin, Texas, and the big dreams of two brothers has led to hundreds of grocery stores, fuel stations, pharmacies, tobacco shops, convenient stores, coffee shops and more spanning from the Texas Hill Country to western Louisiana. We now operate under seven distinctive retail brands – Brookshire Brothers, Brookshire Brothers Express, David’s Supermarkets, David’s Express, Pecan Foods, Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy and Tobacco Barn.
We don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach – each store caters to the unique needs of the community it serves. But we certainly have a common goal. At Brookshire Brothers, and in each of our retail brands, our mission is to be good people who sell good food and do good deeds. So that’s what we do: Deliver exceptional customer service, provide the freshest food and volunteer our time and efforts to helping those around us, just like we’ve been doing for the past century.
