QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Experience working in a customer service-related position.
- Computer skills necessary, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web browsers.
Preferred:
- Associate degree from an accredited college.
- Previous employment in an educational setting.
- Proficient with Google Workspace tools like Docs, Sheets, and Drive to create, share, and manage work.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
The position will report to the Manager of Testing Center for job responsibilities and other College related activities as outlined in the Policies and Procedures Manual. Essential duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance during the hours scheduled by the Manager of the Testing Center.
- Work independently to administer exams and work collaboratively with other staff to ensure the smooth operation of the Testing Center.
- Respond to phone and email inquiries in a professional manner and interact with students, staff, and faculty appropriately and courteously.
- Accurately represent the Testing Center processes to students, staff, and faculty.
- Establish positive rapport with a variety of constituents, including diverse populations.
- Balance work responsibilities and keep the workspace organized to create an effective and efficient work environment.
- Obtain and maintain certifications required to administer exams.
- Administers standardized tests including, but not limited to, the Texas Success Initiative Assessment 2 (TSIA2); professional school admissions tests; college entrance exams, and proprietary certification exams.
- Administer PearsonVue exams.
- Use Zoom or other web conferencing software to proctor online exams remotely.
- Comply with guidelines and legal requirements for test administration, including regulations from testing agencies.
- Ensure integrity and quality in the testing environment.
- Ensure the security of testing materials and test scores by monitoring test records and following procedures for returning exam scores and materials to instructors and/or testing agencies.
- Comply with FERPA regulations and institutional policies regarding the release of student information to faculty, parents, students, etc.
- Communicate with faculty and students regarding testing registration, identification requirements, testing schedules, and other test-related information as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions with students.
- Comply with deadlines, important dates, and state and federal mandates affecting testing services.
- Purchase exams as directed, enter invoices for payment, and support the general office functions of the Testing Center as needed.
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning by completing all required training, compliance courses, and professional development activities promptly and within established deadlines.
CONTRACT & SALARY:
$14.00 per hour in addition to excellent employee benefits. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for the successful candidate.
