Tool Cage Attendant

Issuing tools, parts, and equipment to workers; maintaining records of issued items; monitoring and keeping an active inventory
Tool maintenance: cleaning, sharpening, calibrating, and lubricating tools. Maintaining a database of all tools and equipment, keeping track of preventative maintenance sheets and work orders, and inputting this information into a computer.  Receiving, storing, inspecting, and distributing tools to employees. This also includes unpacking incoming stock and requisitioning items to replenish inventory.  Communicating with vendors and building working relationships with them.

Working Hours 6:00 AM- 3:30 PM


Preferred Skills
*experience in manufacturing environment
* Attention to detail and organizational skills
* time management/ independently working
* Basic computer skills 
* inventory knowledge

Required Skills
* High school diploma or GED 
* Minimum 2 years experience or training
* use of electric pallet jack 
* able to walk /stand, bend and lift for at least 8 hours
